If you're ready to start marketing your business, begin with the basic building blocks to form your foundation and grow from there.

Network — many networking events can be found in just about any city or town. If you, like most business owners, are short on time, focus on the ones that are during the evening hours. In many cases, these events are free, so the only cost is your time. Networking is a great way to make face to face contact with prospects without the distractions you would normally face during the work day. All you need is a handful of business cards, a winning smile and a great attitude.

Business cards — Obviously, you'll need them for networking and sales calls. Don't forget all the other ways you can distribute them. Business cards a an easy and inexpensive way to generate exposure for your business.

Direct mail — You don't need to mail to a list of 50,000 for direct mail to be effective, you just need to be consistent. You can have 1,000 postcards printed, affix postage and labels yourself, and mail out 50 or 100 to the same targeted list each week. As you begin to generate revenue from this, you can increase the size of your mailing list.

Web site — If you don't have a web site, you are wrong. Plain and simple. Web sites aren't just for e commerce, nor are they just for large companies. These days, people use the internet for comparing companies and without a web site, you're out of the running. You don't need all of the bells and whistles, but you do need an effective and professional web site.

There you have it. The basic building blocks you'll need to effectively market your business. With these blocks in place, you can begin to add additional things, such as search engine optimization, television and radio advertising, or billboards. The idea is to build a foundation, and as you achieve results, add more to your marketing campaign.

That's right Ladies and Gentlemen, if you're working with a tight marketing budget (or indeed with no set marketing budget at all) then you can now get exposure for your product, service or company in the form of PR (or Public Relations).

For large companies PR is big business. They will think nothing of employing staff with the sole intention of getting the name of their company in the media (be it written press, television, radio or online). And because the PR market is seemingly dominated by the larger companies small companies shy away from using PR in their marketing mix.

If this applies to you then good times could well be ahead as PR is a vital part of the marketing mix for smaller companies in particular as they often don't have the time or money to spend on often expensive advertising or other marketing.

Successful businesses of all sizes use PR to promote their business, build their reputation and become a recognised expert in their particular field. And the beauty of PR is that everyone is an expert in something. And by passing on your expertise in a particular subject in the right way you become newsworthy.

And that is the real secret when it comes to good PR. It has to be interesting and newsworthy. Nobody cares that you've just launched a new website or that Mrs Jones in Accounts has just become a Grandmother for the second time (both subjects I've seen in press releases and both subjects I've seen in journalist's bins!!). And if you've ever attempted PR only not to have it published then I wouldn't worry too much about it as you're amongst the 99% of companies who send out PR that isn't newsworthy or interesting.

Here are a few words on Why PR is important.

Communication lies at the heart of today's modern society. Be it on the internet, television, pod casts or whatever medium you choose. And with so many firms competing for the same business as you, how do your customers differentiate between you and your competitors?

The answer lies not particularly in the size of your Yellow Pages advert but how you project yourself and what your firm has to offer.

PR has a huge sway in the minds of consumers as the perceived third party endorsement that comes from editorial coverage can be substantial, maybe even more so than advertising that can cost hundreds or thousands of pounds.

PR done well can result in increased exposure, increased business and increased profits. And if you want your business to be the best it can be then becoming good at PR is something you want to do.

And remember, it's FREE!!!!

The proses of applying adsense has been done. Congratulation! You get what you want! Google Adsense has approved your proposal.

Now you can login into the member area of Google Adsense and start to manage your account.

There are 4 main tabs as you can see on the above picture:

Report.
Adsense Setup.
My Account.
Resources.

The first tab “Report” consist of sub 4 tabs, which are:

Overview.
Advanced Reports.
Report Manager.
Site Diagnostics.

Below you will find the first sub tabs explanation:

Overview.

You will see the total earnings that you have earned from Google Adsense. Just click the drop-down menu and select the view that you want to see.

Advanced Reports

Check the statistics of your ads here and save as Report Template.

Report Manager

Just edit the Report Template and send it to your email at the certain time.

Site Dianostics

This page View detailed diagnostic information about the pages Google crawls to display relevant ads. Clik here if want to know anything about crawls.

I take it from Google Adsense official website. Just follow the simple steps below:

1. If you don't have a website, you can create one using

or Google Page Creator (English only). It is free!

2. Learn more about your site's compliance with Google Adsense

program policies and tips for application success.

3. Complete an application

4. When you receive an email from Google, submit your application for review by clicking on the link to verify your email address. If you don't receive the email verification message, click here.

5. Wait to receive an email from Google about your application status.

STARTING CHECKLIST FOR YOU ADSENSE

Please read this article carefully because this is your first step to become one of the best website publisher that working at home but still generate profit! I compile it from some super web publisher and I hope we can learn it together.

Broken Links
Recheck your entire website and please ensure that there are no broken links. Your proposal will be rejected just because this simple thing! Just fix all your links before you apply. You can use Google Webmaster Tool to help you checking and validate your site.

Layout and fonts
Layout and fonts should be appropriate! Make your web site simple and please ensure the size of fonts is not so big or small. Nevertheless, please put more text and less images or without images at all. It is much better.

Search engine friendly
You have to make sure every page on your website will be found by search engine crawlers and crawled properly. Please ensure to set up your site and page correctly for this to happen. You need at least basic HTML knowledge to understand how to do the following.

Content of website
Please read Google Adsense Policy before apply and make sure the content of your website is complied with it. Please make sure your website not contain full banner and other advertising things before applying Google Adsense. Google Adsense uses contextual ads which are related to your content, so you can pretty much control what kind of advertisers ads they putts on your website. Google does not like other competitor dominate your site! It is natural and should be understood.

Number of Post / Article
The common suggestion is you should write at least 10 posts before applying. Although there is no such indication on the Google Adsense official site, but it is better than “Sorry, your proposal is not accepted!”. Take care to prepare several pages with content that relates to your site's subject. Each page should deal with a different aspect of the subject.

Join with Google Adsense Forum
You must have a well knowledge everything about Google Adsense before apply. By joining such forum or other free member forum, you get more tools to prevent anything that could make you rejected by Google Adsense. Or you could browsing to Google Adsense Blog which provides great articles and any other things about Google Adsense.

Languages does AdSense support
Please read Google Adsense Support Language before applying Google Adsense. Some of languages are not supported Adsense For Content and Referral. Once again, please read it or you will be disappointed and find that you can not get the best of Google Adsense can be!

Others important things
Please do not link to website that rewards users for clicks on the ads (just refer to the poin about layout and font above). Please avoid to participate in internet founds or illegal business!
